This is a question and answer blog. We welcome all ideas and will try and answer all your questions. I know there are a lot of you out there with some great ideas on how to launch this out into our schools and our community. Please feel free to ask and offer your services.
Did you know that each year our school can earn $20,000.00 from clipping box tops and another $20,000.00 from shopping in the emarketplace. www.boxtops4education.com/earn/marketplace Check out all the stores you can shop from there are many.
Our goal is to bring this out into our community. We will be setting up drop off boxes throughout Seal Beach and you will be updated to where they are. We are trying to get Leisure World involved and have a drop off box there. We are asking that each room has a box top coordinator and as soon as we set this up we will meet and let you know what is involved.
Help us make Box tops a huge success this year we look forward to hearing from you.

Welcome to McGaugh's Box tops for Education Blog
Are You Ready for Some Fun!
Are you ready for games, prizes, food, and fun? Are you excited about the upcoming McGaugh Carnival? Would you like to get some Carnival tickets to launch your fun Carnival day? Well, keep your eyes open and get your scissors ready. It’s time to clip Box Tops for Education!
This morning, Monday October 1, we launched a competition between classes at the school. The classes that bring in the most Box Tops between now and Wednesday October 24 will win tickets that can be used for games, prizes, food, and FUN at the annual McGaugh Carnival.
What are Box Tops? Many grocery and office products you probably already purchase have a little pink and blue rectangular “Box Top for Education” on the package. Simply clip this and send it with your child to school. You will be amazed at how many products have Box Tops on the package:
- General Mills Cereals
- Nature Valley
- Betty Crocker
- Hefty trash bags and tableware
- Kleenex
- Progresso soups
- Scott paper products
- Yoplait yogurt
- Green Giant vegetables
- Ziploc bags
- Avery and Boise paper products
to name just a few. You can find a complete list on the McGaugh website, click on - Parents – Project Seek – Box Tops or you can go to the Box Top for Education website at www.btfe.com/products
There will be three winning classes, one from the K/1st grades, one from the 2nd/3rd grades, and one from the 4th/5th grades. The classes that bring in the most Box Tops per child will win the Carnival tickets! Tickets will be awarded the Friday before Carnival.
Is your class up to the challenge? Can you find and clip the most? Winners think outside of the box … who can you get to help? Maybe your Grandparents, friends, neighbors, and co-workers can be of assistance. It’s all for a great cause! Keep your eyes open, your scissors ready, and prepare for a fun filled day at the Carnival.
